SCADA solutions are not a privilege for new installations, which may inherently include such systems. Of course, we also address those who want a complete electromechanical installation solution with SCADA system, but a system can be designed and built, with additions to existing electromechanical equipment or partial replacement. In any case, we keep alive the possibility of extending the solution to the highest level.
In most cases we are called upon to provide telemetry and additional automation capabilities to pre-existing electromechanical installations. The approach taken in this case is to respect the existing infrastructure and the parallel operation of the systems without disrupting the desired functionality. Thus, older users of the installation are not shocked by radical changes, the original manufacturer of existing systems is not ahead surprises during eventual maintenance, while the installation enters a new era, where evolution gradually becomes interesting, useful, and then necessary.
Many times, a new manufacture or radical replacement of a fully automated electromechanical system with telemetry capabilities is required. Where there is no limit, the possibilities are endless. However, from the customer's point of view the need is specific and not always clear and from our point of view (manufacturers and users of our systems many times) there is a realistic cost-benefit. In any case there are suggestions for the present and future of the current installation and possible upgrades to other related installations.
Designing and installing our systems, we start getting a complete picture of how our systems will fit into the whole process. Our proposals often preview things a step further, always leaving open choices for the future. We know that the outcome of our work is judged to be of use, which is gradually interesting, useful and then necessary. Therefore today's interest turns into a future need, which should be easily and readily met by the initial investment.
